Paddle.be is part of the communications agency European Service Network (esn.eu). ESN is a Brussels-based communications agency that has been working since 1986 for public organisations such as departments of the European Commission, the European Parliament, the European Medicines Agency, and many more.

Paddle.be was created in 2012 as part of a collaboration with the Flemish government through the Kanooh framework contract. With Paddle.be, we offer a central CMS platform for the public sector. We build and maintain websites for services within the federal and Flemish governments, local authorities, hospitals, universities, and schools. The Paddle team now consists of around 20 enthusiastic employees.

What challenges did you face before choosing us?

Due to the success of our concept, the number of websites for Flemish government services grew rapidly. Unfortunately, our previous hosting partner was not always able to scale the infrastructure accordingly, which increasingly led to performance issues. In our search for solutions, we got in touch with Level27 through one of our partners. The first meeting was pleasant, and we appreciated their collaborative approach. When it became clear that their promises were actually being fulfilled, trust followed quickly.

Why did you choose us?

What do you see as the strengths of Level27’s service?

The proactive thinking and support in identifying improvements is greatly appreciated. When there’s an urgent issue, we’re helped quickly and efficiently via direct communication in the shared Slack channel. We don’t feel like just another number. The people we work with understand what we’re doing, which makes the collaboration very pleasant. You offer the ideal mix of support, solution-oriented thinking, and solid infrastructure at a fair price.

Can you name two or three other strengths of ours?

Hosting is usually offered in standard packages via a subscription model, whether you need and use it or not. Of course, the financial aspect plays a role, and from an ecological perspective, it's also wise not to oversize packages and only provide what's actually used.

Level27 offers us the ideal combination of active support and collaboration on the one hand, and the right infrastructure at the right price on the other. We also trust that there’s a solution for every problem, and there’s always a plan B or C available.

What result have you seen from choosing Level27? What has it meant for you?

Our clients are and remain satisfied, which leads them to return regularly and require hosting again. It's a virtuous cycle that keeps the momentum going and creates new opportunities for both parties.
