Why become a Business Developer at Level27?
As a Business Developer, you play a crucial role in driving business growth and increasing our company’s revenue. You are responsible for attracting and retaining customers, working closely with existing clients and new prospects. Your main focus is building strong relationships and understanding customer needs in order to offer tailored solutions.
What will you do?
Business development
- Actively hunting for new customers.
- Do cold prospecting and generate new business through effective client visits.
- Keep an overview and follow up on deals in our user-friendly CRM, Pipedrive.
- Negotiate agreements from start to finish.
- Help set and achieve quarterly goals together with the sales team.
- Plan, follow up, and conduct demos for key prospects.
- With the help of our Sales Academy, support customers in selling to their own clients.
- Make clear agreements about deliveries with both the client and our Delivery team.
- Spot market changes, complaints, or customer needs and share them within the sales team.
Account management
- Generate additional revenue from existing accounts – some farming is part of the job!
- Re-negotiate expiring contracts within agreed parameters and pricing policy.
- Conduct business reviews so customers always feel supported and heard.
- Remove bottlenecks that stand in the way of successful deals.
- Discuss and negotiate price changes so that customers understand them and remain happy.
What do we expect from you?
We’re looking for someone who can and wants to sell technical services. You don’t have to be an IT specialist, but an interest in our sector is definitely a plus.
What does that mean exactly?
- Several years of sales experience is a strong advantage, but at least some experience is required.
- Basic knowledge of cloud, Windows, and Linux.
- Previous experience selling technical services (in any sector) is a big plus.
- An existing, well-maintained network in the sector is an advantage.
- Living at a reasonable distance from Hasselt and willing to travel to prospects.
- Skilled at building strong customer relationships and creating trust.
- A good listener and clear communicator.
- Motivated by hitting sales targets.
- Strong negotiation skills, balancing the needs of both the client and Level27.
- Always put the client first. Their satisfaction is the main goal.
- Confident in using CRM systems and Office applications (we don’t provide Excel training).
- Solution- and opportunity-oriented mindset.
- Flexible enough to attend occasional evening (networking) events.
