Above expectations
My adventure at Level27 began in the summer of 2023. I had no IT knowledge whatsoever and found myself in an office filled mainly with men. As a woman, I was very much in the minority, and as a non-techie, even more so. What initially attracted me to Level27 was the organisation's appealing image: a modern, beautiful office in the heart of Hasselt. A young and dynamic team, active social media channels, values that match my personality, playful job vacancies. It worked! But what you expect from a company in advance is not always the reality. So what made the hours, days, weeks and months fly by? Well, working at Level27 is fun ;-)
Continuous growth and improvement
In recent years, Level27 has grown into a team of 20 employees, including our adorable company dog Fellow. At the end of last year, we were voted Limburg SME of the Year by Unizo. This recognition of our vision and the path we have taken is a huge motivation to do even better in the future. At Level27, employees are given plenty of room for personal growth, although you certainly need the right assertiveness and ambition to make the most of it. In other words: there are many opportunities in a company where the possibilities are endless, but you have to seize them!
No nonsense
One of the most important values we promote to our customers also plays a major role internally. We all want to improve at what we do and we want to move forward as an organisation. Of course, this sometimes involves trial and error. That is why it is always necessary to communicate clearly with each other. We are open and honest with each other because that is simply the most productive way of working. Sometimes we don't like it, but most of the time we are glad that there is no beating around the bush. We know how to get things done, so that's what we do.
Young team (in spirit) ;-)
Finally, it's great to be able to work with a young team every day. Most of them are young in age, others are young at heart. ;-) In any case, we share many interests. Fast food, for example, has become a real tradition where we look forward to “greasy Friday” every week. We all have lunch together and end the lunch break with a game of darts, pool or FIFA. Work pressure and stress can sometimes cause tempers to flare, but nothing that an Aperol, Vedett or Gin and Tonic on Friday afternoon can't fix. Work hard, play hard: cliché, but so true. And at the end of the day, we're actually a big bunch of friends.
