Another story
In an acquisition, it’s always interesting to know both sides of the story. Often you’ll read in the communication from the acquired company that it’s about a collaboration and that nothing changes for the customers. Generally, it’s spoken of as an acquisition, implying that the brand name will “eventually” disappear.
We’re telling a different story. In our communication, we choose this angle: Level27 acquires SiteHosting. SiteHosting has built a solid name and we will keep it. The infrastructure and services, however, are getting a serious upgrade.
The hosting company with unique customer support
SiteHosting is a hosting company from Ghent. The company was founded in 2001 and has been providing hosting for thousands of small, medium, and large companies for almost 20 years. Within the hosting segment, they deliver practically all available services, with the emphasis on good service and strong customer support.
The acquisition is a win-win
Ambition defines us. We want other companies to get to know our story and realize scaling up. Because our approach works our customers prove that time and time again.
But also from SiteHosting’s point of view, this acquisition is a step forward. They were struggling with some technical backlog that needed urgent attention. The shared values of our organizations were also a factor in the takeover. We both wanted to provide our customers with an excellent experience, and we will continue to do so. Flashforward: now all of SiteHosting’s technical concerns are behind us and we are fully choosing for the future!
Everything happens transparently under the radar!
For our existing customers nothing will change - you can just continue as usual. The customers of SiteHosting, however, are part of the transition.
Step by step we are taking the necessary actions, ultimately realizing a full acquisition. The SiteHosting customers are aware of this. At the end of the journey, the complete refresh of hardware and software will of course ensure that we can raise the services to an even higher level (higher than the glory days of the organization)! We’re already very excited about this new step.
