How long have you been working at Level27?

Five short years.

How does your first impression compare to your experience now?

Not much has really changed. I started in a small no-nonsense company that now has 9 employees but still maintains the same no-nonsense approach!

What has been your most memorable project so far?

The first migration. Never experienced so much stress in my life! Also, the Pukkelpop project, where I contributed a little (installation of the systems), was certainly memorable.

What is the best quote you’ve heard at the office?

“It’s all going to the wubbe.”

What is essential on an average workday?

Black coffee and lots of silly jokes.

What kind of lunch makes you happy at midday?

Fries and burgers.

Are you still an early bird or night owl like many years ago, or has that changed?

Mornings are still not for me.

How do you best deal with busier, more stressful periods?

Best of Whitney Houston!

How have you grown professionally, from your start here at Level27 to now?

Certainly technically, but also in terms of assertiveness and professionalism (handling difficult situations correctly).

Do you also feel that you have experienced personal growth, and would you like to elaborate on that?

I have mainly learned not to dwell on problems, but to address and solve them immediately.

Have you been encouraged within Level27 to grow both professionally and personally?

Continuously, that is one of Level27’s strong points. Personal conversations are held every few months to discuss your future plans and ambitions. Every month, a day is set aside to work on your personal goals.

Level27 positions itself as a flexible employer. To what extent has that improved your work experience?

In the hosting world, especially with on-call duties and other tasks that must be done in the evening, working hours are handled flexibly. This way, you can still start your day well-rested!

What do you definitely want to achieve within Level27?

The sky is the limit. Personally, I want to play an important role in Level27’s world domination, and step in wherever needed. I want to see Level27 grow as one of the largest and most reliable players in the hosting world.

Have you seen Level27 as a brand change?

I think that since I started, not much has really changed. We always want to maintain our transparent no-nonsense approach in all aspects. After all these years, this is still the case, both internally and towards clients.

Are there any general tips you would like to give to newcomers in your field?

Do you have the ambition to learn a lot -technically, professionally, and personally - and are not afraid of a challenge? Then Level27 is the place to be!
